Amy Baxter-Ley

Ms. Wheelchair America 1996

We moved into our new home 10 months ago and we love it... lots of custom features that are great with my wheelchair... my kitchen is just what I always dreamed of!

Work keeps me busy... the airline business is still very tough these days... but, I'm hanging in there - and traveling a lot.

I joined my church choir last year and love it!

I also continue to serve on the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities - this is my 8th year on the council .I also serve on the Central Texas Bishop's Council for Disabilities. I adore serving on both of these boards and am proud of the good work they do for Texans with disabilities.

Hard to believe, but last years birthday was my 40th! Lots of good fun and plenty of tricks from family and friends.

I often think back on my year as MWA - and those memories will continue to make me smile for the rest of my life.

Love to everyone... Amy

We would like to receive information about previous National Titleholders of Ms. Wheelchair America. Any input would be much appreciated.
